Disha Walia is a passionate storyteller and writer, deeply in love with the creative world of words. Her fiction and non-fiction work has been featured in several media outlets, including a Mumbai-based publication. She has also worked as a Writer at Network 18, covering entertainment, lifestyle, and cultural narratives. Currently, she is an Editor at a publishing house in India, shaping stories from manuscript to bookshelf.
Her work includes contributions to the Illinois-based Colorism Healing anthologies (2021 & 2022 Colorism Healing Writing Contest), guest contributions to New York-based DIY MFA’s #5onFri, and her speculative fiction column, Worldly Wise, where she guided writers in bringing their stories to life. She also spoke as a panellist at the MidWest Mixed 2021 Conference: Beyond The Bounds. Ever since she first walked through the door of Quillinary, Disha loves to spend even her free time daydreaming about what’s next to write.
