Disha Walia is a passionate storyteller and writer, in love with exploring the creative side of the world of words. So far, her fiction and non-fiction reads have been featured on several media outlets, including finding her work as a frequent feature on Mumbai-based publications. Her fiction reads include ‘House of Cards’, an original romance thriller available on Inkitt and Wattpad. ‘Click’, a short story ranked 2nd on Pen & Ink Contest on Storymirror, ‘The Hunter’s Amaryllis’ listed in Top 25 and featured as The Story of the Week on The Story Vault, and a fantasy podcast ‘Tales of Arcadia’.
She has also contributed to the Illinois-based Colorism Healing’s print anthology ‘2021 Colorism Healing Writing Contest’, ‘2022 Colorism Healing Writing Contest’, and has appeared as a guest contributor on New York-based DIY MFA’s ‘#5onFri’ and runs her speculative fiction column ‘Worldly Wise’, where she helps readers take the reins of their story as together they take it to the finish line. Ever since she first walked through the door of Quillinary, Disha love to spend even her free time daydreaming about what’s next to write.
